If you time it right, you can make truffle oil 3 times per day, which means you need at least 4 oil makers to convert truffles from 12 pigs, if you want to use up all truffles on the day that they're produced. That's about %62 of the year.Ĥ) Turning truffles into truffle oil requires oil makers, which cost 20 hardwood, 1 gold bar, and 50 slime each. There are 112 days in a year, 28 of those are winter, and 15 of the remainder are rainy, so that leaves only 69 days where pigs can produce produce truffles. The game's weather chances are such that on average it rains 5 times per season. As such, when comparing profits between pigs and other barn animals, we have to reduce your daily profit calculations by the percentage of the year that they can be produced. If you have high friendship with the pigs, they have a chance of digging up an additional truffle (66% at 5 hearts) - the attempt of additional truffles will keep repeating until it fails, so it's very possible to get 32 or more per day even without gatherer, once you've maxed your friendship with pigs.ģ) Pigs don't give you truffles during winter, rainy days, or if you don't let them out, while other barn animals still continue to produce their respective goods during those conditions. It's usually more like 14-16 per day.Ģ) Animal friendship is extremely valuable. There are a few things that were missed with pigs:ġ) With gatherer you only get 20% chance of 2 truffles from 1, so while you could theoretically get up to 24 per day from 12 pigs at basic friendship level, the chance of it happening is practically non-existent (0.000000004096%). Theres my view on it, I spent like an hour writing this so i hope it's interesting and starts some discussion! That is better than a greenhouse full of ancient fruit, which is insane. That is AMAZING! If you continue the same 24 truffles for a week, that's 250,488g per week. If you have the artisan perk you will be making a profit, so go with that. That's 30,000g PER DAY! THAT'S INSANE! That's not even with the truffle oil.The oil sells for 1065g with no perks and 1491g with the artisan perk. If you have the gatherer and Botanist you can get a maximum of 24 iridium starred truffles per day. That's 3360g per day with 12 cows, and each cow costed 1500g each. Milk sells for 125g and cheese sells for 200g with no perks, 240g with the rancher perk, and 280g with the artisan perk. If you have the rancher and shepard you are making 6768g per day, which is really good.Ĭows are cheap and can make you lots of cash. You are making 5640g every 3 days minimum. but that means you can't get the artisan perk. Their wool sells for 340g and the cloth sells for 470g with no perks, 564g with the rancher perk, and 658 with the artisan perk, that's every 3 days unless you are the shepard and the sheep is loved, then its everyday. Sheep really aren't bad, but they aren't ready often at all. Thats 4500g every 2 days if you have no perks, Void Chickens do that in 1 day! Goat cheese sells for 375g without any perks, 450g with the Rancher Perk, and 525g with the Artisan perk. Their milk sells for 225g and goats are ready to be milked every 2 days. Goats are not worth it at all for their price. Their mayo sells for 275g without any perks, 330g with the rancher perk, and 385g with the artisan perk, which is AMAZING, if you have 12 void chickens and you get their mayo everyday you will make 4620g PER DAY! That is incredible! You can buy a void egg from Krobus for 5000g or get it from the traveling merchant for 100-1000g or get it by luck! It is definitely worth it. chickens pay themselves off in like a week If you turn their eggs into mayo each mayo will sell for 190g without any perks, 228g with the rancher perk, and 266g with the artisan perk. When you befriend the Duck it can drop a duck feather sometimes but it really isnt profitable.ĭinosaurs are actually pretty good, but they only produce every week, and their eggs sell for 350g, but you basically buy them for free, so it's worth it.Ĭhickens are really good, better than some reproducing crops like green beans if you have 12. Rabbit is rarely useful, you need to befriend it before it can drop a rabbit's foot, and wool isnt really reliableĭucks produce duck eggs every other day and it doesn't sell for much. The coop and barn are very useful actually and can make you tons of money if you play your cards right, but what do you think is the best animals for each?
